Job Summary:

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met, and exceeding their expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with U-Haul products and services, providing solutions to their needs and concerns.

• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory, ensuring accurate and efficient transactions.

• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers, ensuring safe and secure transportation of equipment.

• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization.

• Answer customer questions and educate them on U-Haul products and services, promoting a positive and supportive experience.

• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental, ensuring accurate and timely processing.

• Install hitches and trailer wiring, ensuring safe and secure connections.

• Fill propane tanks, providing a convenient and essential service to our customers.

• Drive a forklift, safely and efficiently moving equipment around the lot.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts, requiring special safety precautions. You may be required to use protective clothing or gear, such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion, including long periods of remaining stationary, moving around indoors and outdoors, and positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights. You may be required to move equipment weighing a minimum of 50 pounds, assisted or unassisted.
