The Business Risk Officer is a strategic professional who plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity and stability of Citigroup Inc. This position requires a deep understanding of risk management principles and the ability to apply them in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and support multiple risk and control programs to ensure global risk management consistency and excellence.
  • Establish and maintain quarterly audit processes to ensure proper calculation and control.
  • Work closely with business partners to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations.
  • Develop and implement procedural implementation and change management processes to ensure proper governance and controls.
  • Examine procedures for consistency and gaps relative to regulations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct internal testing to ensure control and monitor exceptions to dispute policy.
  • Leverage data to examine impacts on customer experience and regulatory compliance.
  • Exercise independence of judgment and autonomy in decision-making.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to senior stakeholders and team members.
  • Assess risk when business decisions are made and demonstrate consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding its clients and assets.
Requirements
  • 6-10 years of relevant work experience in Business Risk & Controls.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational influencing skills.
  • Ability to lead global team efforts and develop and implement strategy and process improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of risk management principles and regulatory requirements.
  • ACAMs Certification (a plus).
Education

Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Master's degree.
