About the Role:

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a seasoned Talent Management Leader to join our team. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for designing and evolving our approach to career development and talent planning. This includes developing and implementing performance management systems, managing stretch assignment marketplaces, and leading mentoring efforts. You will work closely with our HRIS team to configure Workday and leverage new functionality to drive business results.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the evolution of our performance management philosophy, ensuring a fair and equitable system that drives accountability and supports engagement and internal mobility goals.
  • Develop and sustain a strong talent pipeline, champion a robust High Potential program, and provide actionable talent insights to senior leadership.
  • Design and implement innovative talent development programs, including skills training and succession planning.
  • Apply a Systems Thinking lens to identify and address potential inequities in our talent programs, ensuring fairness, bias, and equity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build a skills framework, integrate skills into hiring practices, and support strategic workforce planning.
  • Contribute to our continuous listening approach for understanding employee engagement and the overall experience across the employment lifecycle.
  • Support assessment strategy by recommending or introducing assessments for selection, development, and team cohesiveness.
  • Work with the HR Systems team to optimize our implementation of Workday's talent-related offerings.
  • Utilize talent data to glean meaningful insights, make recommendations, and implement improvements.
  • Establish deep relationships with company executives, HR Business Partners, and other stakeholders to ensure talent solutions meet business needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, psychology, human resources, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in talent management, including performance management, high potential programs, skill development, and talent & succession planning.
  • Project management experience, including leading complex enterprise-scale projects.
  • Change management experience, including continuous improvement methodologies and technologies.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to build and lead partnerships across multiple levels.
  • Innovative thinking, with the ability to learn from experience and adapt to new and changing conditions.
  • Technical expertise in human capital management software, including Workday, Oracle, and SAP.
