Key Responsibilities:
- Operate floor maintenance equipment such as auto-scrubbers, buffers, and carpet extractors
- Utilize automated cleaning tools for expansive areas
- Perform upkeep on various flooring materials
- Conduct cleaning tasks including sweeping, vacuuming, and polishing floors
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness in communal areas and managing waste disposal
- Promptly report any maintenance concerns
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures
- Maintain organized and tidy workspaces
- Follow ethical standards and compliance guidelines
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience with floor care machinery
- Prior experience in a long-term care environment is advantageous
- Ability to comprehend and follow directives
- Effective communication skills
- Physical capability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50lbs
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods
