Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at LifeBridge Health. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing general diagnostic studies safely with some degree of independence. You will demonstrate age-appropriate care towards all customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging studies using various modalities, including X-ray, CT, and MRI.
  • Operate imaging equipment and ensure proper maintenance and calibration.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans to ensure safe and effective imaging procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Provide patient education and support to ensure understanding of imaging procedures and results.

Qualifications:

  • Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college) in a specialized field.
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • 1-3 years of experience in diagnostic imaging.
  • American Heart Association CPR Certification.
  • ARRT, Maryland State License.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
