Position Overview

The Training Facilitator plays a crucial role in delivering orientation and various training programs for team members at RaceTrac. This individual is dedicated to ensuring that training materials are presented in an engaging, precise, and effective manner. Additionally, the Training Facilitator may assist with other initiatives to guarantee the successful integration of new Store Associates or those recently promoted.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts New Hire Orientation sessions, both in-person and virtually, to facilitate the effective onboarding of new team members.
  • Ensures that new team members are familiar with RaceTrac's culture, essential store operations, performance standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Leads ServSafe food safety training to promote understanding and compliance.
  • Facilitates any necessary state or local assessments for alcohol service in designated areas.
  • Engages actively with team members to support their learning and retention of knowledge.
  • Delivers training programs in accordance with established curriculum.
  • Fosters a positive classroom and onboarding environment.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to enhance training materials and programs, recommending solutions that address the fundamental needs of onboarding and related training.
  • Prepares and distributes orientation materials.
  • Ensures all new team members comprehend the process for acquiring any required personal permits.
  • Collects classroom data, including attendance and performance metrics, to ensure ongoing improvement and quality of training programs.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrates high personal standards of conduct and professionalism.
  • Exhibits excellent speaking and presentation skills.
  • Possesses strong time management abilities.
  • Displays superior organizational and follow-up skills.
  • 2+ years of experience in retail or a related field is advantageous.
  • 2+ years of experience in a training or educational setting is required.
  • Training certifications are beneficial.
  • A High School diploma is mandatory.
