About Capital City Nurses

Capital City Nurses is a reputable and growing home care company seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides for live-in cases in the DC area.

Job Summary

We are looking for experienced and caring Home Health Aides to provide high-quality care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. As a Home Health Aide with Capital City Nurses, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities
  • Assist with medication management and administration
  • Prepare meals and snacks
  • Assist with light housekeeping and laundry
  • Provide emotional support and companionship
  • Document client progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse

Requirements

  • Valid/Current DC HHA Board License
  • Valid/Current CPR and First Aid certifications
  • At least 1-year professional experience as a caregiver preferred
  • Recent Physical and Tuberculosis screening
  • Open availability, able to work various shifts to include weekends
  • Compassionate, respectful, committed to excellence, and a good attitude
