About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate caregiver to provide in-home personal care and companion care services to our clients throughout the Seattle Metro area. As a caregiver with Always Best Care, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Client Relationships: Develop strong, trusting relationships with our clients, understanding their unique needs and preferences.
- Nurse Delegation Tasks: Perform delegated nursing tasks, working closely with our nursing team to ensure the highest level of care.
- Activities of Daily Living: Assist clients with activities such as dressing, grooming, eating, and bathroom needs, promoting independence and dignity.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a safe and clean environment for our clients' homes, performing light housekeeping tasks as needed.
- Transportation and Companionship: Provide transportation to appointments and shopping, as well as companionship and supervision to our clients.
Requirements:
- Certifications: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Care Aide (HCA) License, Nurse Delegation Certificate, CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Experience: Previous long-term care experience, with a strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by seniors and individuals with disabilities.
- Personal Qualities: Compassionate, empathetic, and able to work effectively with clients and families from diverse backgrounds.
