Press Room Operations Manager

As a Press Room Supervisor at Adient, you will be responsible for supervising production team members and directing daily activities of production workers. You will ensure compliance with methods, quality standards, safety regulations, production standards, and efficient operation of equipment. You will also review production orders, plan production operations, and prepare operational schedules to ensure production and quality of products meet specifications while working to exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise production team members and direct daily activities of production workers.
- Ensure compliance with methods, quality standards, safety regulations, production standards, and efficient operation of equipment.
- Review production orders and plan production operations to ensure production and quality of products meet specifications.
- Prepare operational schedules and coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meet specifications.
- Inspect machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.
- Compile, store, and retrieve production data.
- Develop or revise standard operational and working practices and observe workers to ensure compliance with standards.
- Establish and maintain good safety and housekeeping practices by communicating efficient and acceptable practices and cleanliness levels to all subordinates.
- Responsible for the orientation and on-the-job training of employees in the safe, efficient operation of equipment.
- Provide counseling, coaching, and training for all team members to provide a fully qualified, quality-conscious workforce that produces world-class products for the customer.
- Adhere to and promote all HS&E policies and procedures.
Requirements
- 3-5 Years Supervisory Experience
- Manufacturing Supervisor Experience a must, Automotive Preferred
- Experienced within Steel Stamping Preferred
- Available to work 3rd Shift (9:45pm - 5:45am)
