Job Summary

The Die Setter is responsible for setting up and changing over line and progressive dies to meet production requirements. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and change over line and progressive dies to meet production requirements
  • Operate overhead crane and forklift to transfer equipment
  • Perform coil changes and adjust press, feeder, and coil height
  • Ensure press is ready at start of day and shut down at end of shift
  • Assist with troubleshooting and problem solving to meet quality specifications
Requirements
  • Previous experience in manufacturing
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds repetitively during shift
  • Ability to work independently, stay on task, and be flexible with work requirements
  • Previous stamping experience preferred
  • Ability to obtain a permit to operate overhead crane and forklift
