About the Role

The Community Liaison is a key member of our business development team, responsible for driving admissions and census growth within an assigned book of business. This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare marketing and sales, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote and Practice Our Philosophy: Embody the Agape Hospice Care mission of providing compassionate, comprehensive, and qualified care to individuals with life-limiting illnesses.
  • Secure New Referrals: Make regular, planned calls to secure new referrals, build census, and meet established goals with healthcare providers, facilities, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop Strategic Marketing Plans: Create and execute marketing plans to meet individual admission goals, contributing to the assigned program's budgeted admission and census goals.
  • Conduct Market Research: Analyze market data to identify opportunities for additional or improved services to address customer needs.
  • Build Sustainable Relationships: Utilize the Company's consultative selling strategy to build long-term relationships with targeted referral customers.
  • Participate in Sales Meetings: Collaborate with the sales team to discuss sales forecasting, strategic planning, and analysis for assigned territory.
  • Maintain Professional Competence: Stay up-to-date on hospice, palliative, and primary care eligibility requirements and criteria.
  • Exhibit Compliance: Utilize the Company's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to manage accounts, contacts, calendars, routing schedules, and call notes.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to regulatory requirements and guidelines, corporate identity, and admission standards.
  • Develop Relationships: Foster relationships within the Intake Department and clinical personnel to ensure effective communication both internally and externally.
  • Perform Administrative Duties: Manage sales administration tasks, including expense reports, payroll time sheets, PTO requests, and paperwork delivery or pickup.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent related experience.
  • Experience: Three (3) years of experience in healthcare marketing, management, or hospice care operations.
  • Driver's License and Vehicle: Possess a valid driver's license, documentation of valid vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
