Job Summary

As a Construction Superintendent with Michael Page, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day construction field activities to ensure project milestone dates and overall schedule completion dates are met. You will review blueprints, customer needs, and contractor submissions to execute appropriate bids, lead a team with construction project planning and developing site logistics, and monitor subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and safety guidelines are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage construction field activities to meet project milestones and schedule completion dates
  • Review blueprints, customer needs, and contractor submissions to execute bids
  • Lead team with construction project planning and site logistics
  • Monitor subcontractors for quality workmanship and safety guidelines
  • Utilize good time management to ensure timely project completion
  • Keep daily and weekly work logs
  • Coordinate and supervise construction activities
  • Work with investors and maintain a professional client-facing attitude

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
  • 4+ years as a construction superintendent for a multifamily general contractor
  • OSHA certification (preferred)
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Experience leading ground-up construction projects and managing a large team
  • Mid-rise experience, preferably with diverse projects
  • Proven track record of effectively and efficiently managing job sites
  • Working knowledge of field construction systems, practices, safety, and procedures
