Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director of Operations to lead the overall tasting room and retail operations of Rocky Top Wine Trail. This is a key leadership role that requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving revenue growth, supporting business initiatives, and managing human resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the tasting room and retail area, ensuring a seamless customer experience and maximizing sales revenue.
- Develop and implement strategies to control expenses and payroll, maintaining a lean and efficient operations model.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date record keeping of tax and financial documents, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, focusing on employee productivity, professional development, and retention.
- Oversee the training and onboarding of new employees, ensuring they are equipped to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.
- Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing data-driven solutions.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations to stakeholders, including the VP of Operations, on key performance indicators and business metrics.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, company policies, and procedures, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Provide strategic solutions to complex business issues, such as profit decline, employee conflicts, and loss of business to competitors.
- Communicate effectively with the VP of Operations, providing timely updates and insights on key business matters.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in a leadership role, with a strong background in operations management and business development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees, customers, and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive business decisions.
