As a Trained Medication Assistant (TMA), you will provide a variety of services to maintain and support activities of daily living for our residents under the supervision of a Nurse. Your responsibilities will include:
* Creating a fun, engaging and caring environment for our residents
* Administering routine daily prescription or non-prescription medication to residents whose condition and drug regimen are stable
* Assisting residents by providing social interaction, community connection, support, personal care, housekeeping duties and other tasks
* Assisting the nurses and other staff as needed
* Administering constant, quality customer service to help our residents thrive
Qualifications:
* Certification/current registration as a Trained Medication Assistant (TMA)
* High-school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
* One year nursing/resident assistant care experience in senior services preferred but not required
* Ability to read, write, speak and follow verbal directions in English
* Knowledgeable about the Home Care Bill of Rights as it applies to the CNA
* Basic computer skills with experience or ability to learn electronic health record systems
* Possess compassion for and commitment to hospitality, service, and excellence in senior care
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
