Job Title: Litigation Secretary

At LONG LAW FIRM, LLP, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Secretary to join our team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our attorneys, ensuring the smooth operation of our litigation practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide secretarial support to attorneys, including preparing documents, managing files, and coordinating case preparation.
  • Assist with the preparation of charts, graphs, and other courtroom visuals.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of couriers, court reporters, expert witnesses, and other special functions.
  • Prepare expense reports and maintain attorney calendars.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of client information and maintain the integrity of our firm's records.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of legal secretary experience.
  • Demonstrated 50 wpm typing skills.
  • Moderate to high level of experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Intermediate knowledge of WordPerfect and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
  • Intermediate level of experience regarding internet and software use/capability.
  • High level of integrity and ability to ensure confidentiality of client information.
