Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at RWC Group. As a Diesel Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by performing repairs and maintenance in accordance with current OEM practices and our company's policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and maintenance on diesel engines and heavy equipment with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
- Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs, communicating with parts department to obtain needed parts.
- Examine assigned vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required, communicating with supervisor about any additional work or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
- Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order or additional repairs sheet.
- Assist other technicians with repairs when directed to do so, and report defects or malfunctions to supervisor.
- Maintain and be accountable for all company-owned tools and manuals, returning them to the proper place and in the same condition as when received.
Requirements
- High degree of product and technical knowledge.
- Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer.
- Must be self-motivated and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must conduct himself/herself in a professional manner.
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check and a pre-hire drug and alcohol test.
What We Offer
RWC Group offers a competitive salary range for an Idealease Technician, from $45,000 to $150,000, depending on experience level, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth and development.
