Position Overview:
DaVita is in search of a dedicated Registered Nurse who is eager to provide life-saving care in a hospital environment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to significantly impact the lives of patients and their families who are facing end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease.

Responsibilities:
- Provide care for patients at Mount Auburn Hospital and Cambridge Health Alliance.
- Work a schedule of 4 days per week, including every other Saturday.
- Participate in on-call duties once a week from 6 PM to 6 AM and once a month on weekends.

Training and Development:
- No prior dialysis experience is necessary; comprehensive training will be provided.
- Training may occur at various facilities.
- Flexibility in scheduling is essential, including availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What to Expect:
- Join a supportive team that values collaboration and positivity.
- Deliver care to patients with complex health conditions, requiring tailored treatment plans and a diverse set of nursing skills.
- Supervise a group of patients with the assistance of Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) for patient monitoring and machine setup.
- Engage in a dynamic hospital setting, providing specialty nephrology care across various departments such as ICU, CCU, and ED.

Schedule:
- Provide essential care during scheduled and on-call shifts, with variability based on patient needs.

Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.

- Experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical Surgical (Med Surg) is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Certification as a Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Dialysis Nurse (CDN) is a plus.
