Job Title: Part-time LPN Position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Acute Nursing Care LLC. As a part-time LPN, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our clients in their homes, promoting their health and well-being.

Job Summary:
  • Provide skilled nursing care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Perform selected skilled actions in the provision of curative, rehabilitative, palliative, or preventative nursing care.
  • Assist the Registered Nurse in carrying out the plan of care and performing specialized procedures as directed.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with preparation, implementation, and continuing evaluation of the client care plan.
  • Recognize and understand the effects of social and economic problems upon clients and provide for their emotional and physical comfort and safety.
  • Help teach patients the appropriate self-care techniques.
  • Assume responsibility for personal and vocational growth and development through active participation in nursing organizations and in-service programs.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
  • Must be licensed in the State as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and a drug screen.
  • Must be able to chart on a computer.

Work Environment: This is a part-time position with weekend rotation and visits. The ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing, is required. The ability to access clients' homes, which may not be routinely wheelchair accessible, is also required.

Physical Demands: The position requires the ability to perform a physical assessment of the client's condition and to perform client care, including walking, sitting, stooping, and standing, and minimal to maximum lifting of clients and the turning of clients.
