Nurse Care Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
Provide patient care according to physician's orders and department guidelines.
Review medical records for pertinent previous and current medical information.
Conduct thorough patient interviews to assess current problems, medications, and allergies.
Administer medications according to policy and procedure.
Identify acute versus emergency situations and respond accordingly.
Document all care provided in a concise and complete manner.
Organize tasks, solve problems, and respond calmly in times of multiple demands and emergency situations.
Adhere to departmental expectations and professional responsibilities.
Comply with training requirements, including HIPAA Privacy and Security.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.
3-5+ years of experience.
Previous medical-surgical experience.
IV Therapy skills.
