Job Overview

Utility Service Contractors, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Aerial Lineman to lead a team in the installation of utility fiber and cable. The ideal candidate will have experience in aerial utility work and a strong background in telecommunication construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team in the installation of aerial fiber, coax, and phone cable, ensuring compliance with construction codes and industry standards.
  • Operate equipment used for fiber optic cable aerial construction, including aerial bucket trucks, lashers, drills, and aerial hand tools.
  • Drive trucks and equipment to job sites, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of personnel and equipment.

Requirements

  • CDL (Class – A) preferred, but not required; Medical Card and a good driving record are essential.
  • One to two years of experience in an Aerial Tech role or Lineman School, with a strong background in aerial fiber installation.
  • Ability to travel out of town and work in a variety of weather conditions.
  • On-call duties and ability to safely and efficiently climb poles when necessary.
  • Occasional lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds.
