Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team at Ascent Healthcare. As a Medical Biller, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our billing processes, working closely with our medical staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately and efficiently process medical claims, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Verify patient information, insurance coverage, and billing details to ensure accurate and timely claims submission.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, payers, and medical staff to resolve billing discrepancies and address patient concerns.
  • Monitor and analyze billing data to identify trends and areas for improvement, implementing process changes as needed.
  • Collaborate with the medical staff to ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information and billing details.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in medical billing, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, payers, and medical staff.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Proficiency in medical billing software and systems, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and confidentiality requirements, with the ability to maintain patient confidentiality and security.
