The Security Systems Technician will focus on the installation, upkeep, and repair of commercial security systems.
The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience with low voltage systems, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, fire alarm systems, audio/video equipment, data cabling, and telecommunications infrastructure.
This position demands a robust technical foundation, outstanding problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work autonomously or collaboratively to uphold the highest standards of safety and functionality for our clients' security requirements.
Qualifications:
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years in ACCESS control systems, with a strong background in intrusion detection and video surveillance systems. Familiarity with audio-visual equipment is essential, and a current Arizona Alarm Agents License is required. Additional experience with fire alarm systems is advantageous.
License:
Arizona Alarm Agents License.
Skills:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints effectively, ensuring precise and efficient project execution.
Strong awareness of job site safety protocols and strict adherence to Benson's safety standards reflect a commitment to a secure working environment.
Proficient in analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving tasks, with excellent written and verbal communication skills that facilitate clear and effective interactions.Background Check:
Must successfully pass a background check with no DUI or domestic violence records, as some responsibilities may involve Federal Property and Military Reservations.
Driver's License:
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
