Role Overview

The Marketing Operations team is responsible for translating marketing strategies and initiatives into actionable plans for our clients. This team excels in executing outbound marketing content and messaging effectively. They manage the distribution of marketing activities through selected channels and support cross-functional marketing efforts by applying traditional project management principles. Additionally, they ensure adherence to governance standards, facilitating the communication and understanding of established guidelines. The team also addresses the technological needs of the marketing department, overseeing rollouts and upgrades.

The Marketing Operations Specialist will oversee the creation, development, and execution of event materials, social media content, digital marketing, and email campaigns, ensuring that our strategic marketing objectives are met in a timely manner. These initiatives are planned annually, with additional projects added as needed.

Reporting to the Marketing Operations Manager, it is crucial for the Marketing Operations Specialist to gain a foundational understanding of the overarching strategy and specific marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Articulate Educated Solutions Corp's mission, integrating corporate and campaign objectives into every project.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of various marketing strategies and campaign focuses.
  • Oversee project milestones from strategic planning through to execution, ensuring all requirements are fulfilled.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners across all levels.
  • Address and resolve complex project challenges, escalating issues to management and stakeholders as necessary.
  • Review assigned tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Build consensus among project teams and stakeholders to advance projects effectively.
  • Propose solutions for overcoming project obstacles.
  • Manage the creative project workflow using established project management tools.
  • Organize and lead brainstorming sessions and status calls with design teams and project owners to address potential risks.
  • Coordinate all communications, feedback, and approvals from stakeholders promptly.
  • Oversee project coordination and ensure the successful completion of marketing activities and the creative approval process.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices in project management through research and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Project Management, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience in coordinating marketing, sales, or related functions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills with a history of meeting deadlines and adapting to changing business needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of effectively conveying information to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate proactively, build relationships, take initiative, and solve problems creatively.
  • Experience in coordinating complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in project management.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, including workflow systems.
