Job Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker

InGenesis is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our team. As a key member of our behavioral health team, you will be responsible for providing culturally sensitive primary care-focused behavioral health services and clinical consultation to patients with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform behavioral health screening, triage, evaluation, and assessment to determine the appropriate level of behavioral health care.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic methods, including cognitive behavior therapy, and contingency management.
  • Provide crisis intervention and behavioral health intervention.
  • Provide group interventions (treatment, psycho-education, health education).
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to encourage adherence to medical and behavioral health issues.
  • Plan, coordinate, and facilitate referrals to existing community resources when indicated by assessed need.
  • Work closely with the care team.
  • Maintain current patient case records and prepare reports as indicated.
  • Work flexible schedule as necessary.
  • Review clinical interventions and case documentation with the Behavioral Health Director, and participate in staff meetings, training, case conferences, and peer review process.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in social work/social welfare or doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology.
  • Current California license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Psychologist (PsyD).
  • Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW) will be considered if willing to work towards becoming an LCSW.
  • One year of directly related experience, including a background in primary care consultation, behavioral medicine, health psychology, or other relevant areas.
  • Experience in school-based/community health settings and/or in serving low-income, multicultural populations.
  • Bilingual (preferably Spanish) is highly desirable.
