This role will involve providing support and guidance to individuals and families, with a focus on enhancing their capacities and coping mechanisms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, coordinate, and implement support plans to help clients and families deal with difficulties and overcome dependencies.
• Conduct interviews and assessments to understand clients' current condition, needs, strengths, and weaknesses.
• Provide culturally appropriate program development and service delivery.
• Apply comprehensive mental health services to address each case as unique and set tailored measurable goals.
• Monitor and evaluate clients' progress and modify treatment plans accordingly.
• Offer information and counseling on the best course of action during sessions.
• Maintain accurate records and report on clients' status and progress.
• Teach clients and families strategies that help them overcome challenges.
Requirements and Competencies:
• Proven work experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
• Cultural and linguistic proficiency in Spanish.
• Experience working with immigrants and migrants.
• Working knowledge of social theories and practices as well as equity-related issues.
• Social-emotional perceptiveness and empathy.
• Ability to build and maintain professional helping relationships.
• Ability to relate to and communicate with diverse population and groups.
• Resilience coupled with ability to assess situations.
