InGenesis is seeking a skilled Clinical Social Worker to provide culturally sensitive behavioral health services and clinical consultation to patients with mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct behavioral health screenings, triage, evaluations, and assessments to determine the appropriate level of care.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic methods, including cognitive behavior therapy and contingency management.
- Provide crisis intervention and behavioral health interventions.
- Develop and lead group interventions, treatment, psycho-education, and health education programs.
- Collaborate with patients and their families to promote adherence to medical and behavioral health issues.
- Coordinate referrals to community resources as indicated by assessed need.
- Work closely with the care team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient case records and prepare reports as required.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, case conferences, and peer review processes.
- Master's degree in social work or a related field.
- Current California license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Psychologist (PsyD).
- Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW) with a willingness to work towards becoming an LCSW.
- One year of experience in directly related fields, including primary care consultation, behavioral medicine, health psychology, or other relevant areas.
- Experience in school-based or community health settings, particularly with low-income, multicultural populations.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is highly desirable.
