Position Overview:
BUSUP is in search of a seasoned financial operations manager to support the Operational Flight Program Combined Test Force (OFPCTF). This role requires a dedicated professional with a robust background in financial management.

Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Advising and assisting in the oversight and reporting of the financial status of designated test programs, including necessary earned value reporting and validation of cost reports.
  • Resolving discrepancies, managing deferrals, and collaborating with stakeholders to address financial challenges.
  • Conducting budget analysis, financial variance assessments, and forecasting obligations and expenditures.
  • Managing funds and estimating costs while developing comprehensive program and budget documentation.
  • Ensuring quality control of the automated financial database for tracking expenditures.
  • Creating and implementing strategies for monitoring various expenditure types within the OFPCTF to aid in future budget preparations.
  • Performing audits of program expenditures and utilizing reports to stay informed about squadron program funds.
  • Providing guidance on program schedules, resource management, and financial processes.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Master's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 10 years of experience, or 12+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong self-motivation and the ability to independently manage tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with standardized cost models.
  • Familiarity with specific financial documents and systems used in the industry.

Citizenship Requirement:
U.S. citizenship is required for this position.

Job Type:
Regular, full-time position.

A Secret clearance is necessary for this role.
