Soliant is seeking a skilled School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders in a school setting. As an SLP, you will work collaboratively with school teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide direct therapy services to students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
  • IEP Development: Collaborate with school teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address students' communication needs.
  • Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in group settings, using evidence-based interventions to support students' communication development.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support students' communication needs within the classroom environment.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure students meet their communication goals.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with best practices and evidence-based interventions in school-based speech-language pathology, participating in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience: Experience working in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations.
