Key Responsibilities- Manage and execute environmental site assessments, groundwater monitoring programs, soil and groundwater remedial actions, environmental compliance auditing and permitting, and related environmental services with senior oversight.
- Deliver professional services on time and without error in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations and within the planned level of project profitability.
- Make decisions independently and/or collaboratively on scientific problems and methods.
- Provide technical and operational direction with responsibility for delivering positive outcomes.
- Write technical reports and related work products.
- Communicate with clients, third party, and regulatory agents regarding project status, schedules, and compliance issues.
- Project Management, including, but not limited to developing proposals, contracting, leading project teams, invoicing, and account payables/receivables management.
- Adhere to client and corporate contract specifications in all activities including health, safety, security, and environment.
- Perform field work and field related activities within the state of FL.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in environmental science, geology, or engineering required.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the environmental industry required, including hands-on field and office-based activities (e.g., groundwater and soil assessment and remediation) with commercial and industrial projects, including reporting.
- Experience in the FDEP Petroleum Restoration Program is required.
- Must be able to travel 25%.
- Must be well versed in water quality, environmental regulations, and environmental assessment/remediation.
- Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training required.
- GIS or CADD experience a plus.
- Must be proficient in MS Office suite.
- Valid Florida driver's license with a driving record in good standing required.
- Must be detail-oriented and a team player with great communication, strong technical writing, analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
