Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a team of water resource professionals and support personnel.
  • Oversee project execution and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Conduct comprehensive water resource evaluations.
  • Analyze and interpret data related to water and environmental resources.
  • Design and assess models (e.g., hydrologic, hydraulic, hydrodynamic, hydrogeologic, physical habitat, etc.).
  • Draft and review scientific documentation.
  • Prepare and present proposals and marketing strategies.
  • Engage and participate actively in relevant professional organizations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Geology (Hydrogeology), or a related Hydro Science field.
    • Advanced degree is preferred.
  • 15+ years of pertinent experience.
  • Registered professional engineer, geologist, or hydrologist.
  • Proven experience in project delivery related to hydrology and hydraulics of rivers, aquifers, lakes, and estuaries, with an understanding of the regulatory framework governing environmental flows.
  • Experience in permitting processes, including WUP/CUP and ERPs for Water Management Districts and FDEP.
  • Familiarity with relevant modeling software, such as HEC software, H&H models, and statistical tools.
  • Experience with groundwater models and regulatory permitting tools.
  • Experience collaborating with local public utilities to ensure potable water supplies.
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams to deliver solutions for water delivery and resource management.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
