Key Responsibilities:
- Generate revenue by renting equipment and selling merchandise.
- Enhance sales coverage within a designated area while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Meet or exceed monthly revenue targets and market share growth.
- Prepare daily sales documentation and manage business expenses.
- Conduct research to identify new leads and prospects.
- Engage in face-to-face meetings with potential customers to develop new accounts.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products and services offered.
- Collaborate effectively with other departments to support sales efforts.
Essential Skills:
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient in data entry and basic Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Customer service-oriented with a focus on building relationships.
Work Environment:
This position involves both indoor and outdoor work in a loud environment. Physical demands include standing, walking, and lifting objects up to 32 pounds.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; some college or trade school preferred.
- 10 years of sales experience in the heavy equipment industry.
- 1-3 years of administrative experience.
- 3-5 years of customer service and sales experience.
