Job Overview

The Event Sales Manager position at 25 Lusk offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about organizing the details for our private events. This role involves planning, coordinating, and overseeing various aspects of events to ensure seamless execution and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Plan and coordinate all logistics involved in booking event business, including creating and distributing banquet event orders (BEOs).
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and upsell services to increase revenue.
  • Oversee the execution of private events, including delegation of responsibilities to team members.
  • Respond promptly to incoming event bookings, confirm appointments, and manage calendars to maximize event sales.
  • Stay up-to-date on menu offerings, pricing, and staffing needs to provide accurate information to clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, employees, and management team via email, phone, and in-person meetings.
  • Apply strong communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • 4-5 years of restaurant experience, with a focus on sales and customer service.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
  • Proficiency in Tripleseat, PowerPoint, OpenTable, and Yelp reservations systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
