Event Planning and Coordination
We are seeking a highly skilled Event Coordinator to join our team at the University of Texas at Austin. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting with the planning and execution of various events across campus, including presidential events, ceremonies, and development events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with event planning, including venue selection, catering, and logistics
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure seamless event execution
- Work with the University Events office to compile guest lists and provide support for registration
- Research and present new ideas for event support and swag items
- Collaborate with the communications team to ensure all design materials meet quality standards
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in event planning or a related field
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
