Part-Time Accounting Clerk Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounting Clerk to join our team at Boyum Barenscheer. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing Accounts Receivable, overseeing collections, and maintaining effective client communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process vendor invoices, expense reports, and credit card statements in our accounts payable system.
  • Track overdue client accounts and perform collection efforts via telephone, email, or statements.
  • Process accounts receivable transactions and maintain accurate and up-to-date client account records.
  • Communicate with clients to resolve billing issues and answer inquiries.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports related to accounts receivable and collections.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in internal accounting or a related position is preferred.
  • Prior experience with or Divvy is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial data.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
