About the Role: As a Referral Associate with NYCHA REES, you will play a pivotal part in connecting residents with valuable economic opportunities. You will operate the live REES Hotline, responding to inquiries and providing referrals to partnering organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with a dedicated team to deliver exceptional customer service to NYCHA residents.
  • Manage the REES Hotline, fielding resident calls and offering tailored referrals to boost their economic prospects.
  • Promote data accuracy through efficient entry and record-keeping, adhering strictly to NYCHA's guidelines for personal identifiable information.
  • Evaluate residency status of NYCHA residents and facilitate setup of spaces for REES sessions and external events.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, serve as backup to the front desk, and oversee REES mailbox operations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, coupled with at least three years of experience in community work or related activities.
  • Alternative qualifications and/or experiences that meet the specified requirements.

Compensation Package: We offer an estimated annual salary of $62,000, commensurate with experience.
