Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement system solutions to optimize the Epic Beaker spectrum.
  • Ensure seamless transition of projects and requests to production.
  • Oversee application and system installation and implementation.
  • Define system scope and design objectives through thorough analysis and research.
  • Configure vendor-maintained systems or develop and modify in-house systems.
  • Coordinate with users, ISD staff, and vendors.
  • Conduct research and analysis, prepare project deliverables, and create detailed specifications for vendor systems programming/configuration.
  • Analyze processes and workflows.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience as an Epic Beaker CP Analyst or CP/AP.
  • Familiarity with interface analyzers (hematology, chemistry, DNA), DI (Data Innovations – instrument manager), instrument validation, Labcorp/Quest integration, and Wellsky (blood bank solutions) is preferred.
  • Background in lab technology or lab operations is a plus.
Logistics:
  • Local candidates preferred, with the flexibility to be onsite as needed, approximately once a week.
  • Must be available to work during Pacific Time business hours (8 am - 5 pm PT).
  • COVID-19 vaccination is required.
  • Relocation assistance available (up to $6,000, depending on location).
