About the Position

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our faculty as a Tenure-Track Professor in Communication Sciences and Disorders, with a focus on Hearing Science and Audiology. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the department's research, teaching, and service missions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain an active research program in Hearing Science and Audiology, with a focus on securing external funding and publishing research in top-tier journals.
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Communication Sciences and Disorders, with a focus on developing and implementing innovative curricula.
  • Contribute to the department's service mission by serving on committees, participating in departmental events, and engaging with the broader community.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
  • Clear evidence of potential to develop and maintain an active and productive research program in Hearing Science and Audiology.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach effectively at the college level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, students, and external partners.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Post-doctoral research experience in Hearing Science and Audiology.
  • Successful track record of securing external research funding.
  • Demonstrated commitment to working across disciplinary boundaries.
  • Clinical practice experience in Audiology and Hearing Science.
