Dock Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Dock & Door Technician to join our team at Heubel Shaw. As a certified Raymond dealer, we offer a wide range of services to support our clients' operations.
The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude and ability, with basic knowledge of industrial electricity. They will be responsible for maintaining service and support dock equipment at customer locations in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive to customer site, diagnose, trouble-shoot and repair dock equipment including dock plates, trailer restraint systems, and overhead doors.
- Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment according to schedule and established procedures.
- Complete all required paperwork and time records accurately and completely.
- Develop and maintain positive, effective working relationships with customers and co-workers.
Requirements:
- HS Diploma or GED
- At least two (2) years of hands-on technical experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electrical components
- Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to climb ladders and/or work on elevated platforms that may be 15' to 30' in height
