We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to lead our H&H modeling team. As a key member of our water resources team, you will be responsible for conducting complex analysis of water, wastewater, and stormwater systems.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Direction: Provide technical guidance and oversight to junior staff on H&H modeling tasks.
- Modeling and Analysis: Conduct modeling and analysis of stormwater, wastewater collection, and water distribution systems for private and public clients.
- Quality Assurance and Quality Control: Develop and implement QA/QC measures to ensure the highest quality of deliverables.
- Deliverables and Presentations: Prepare and present model results and reports to clients and FEMA.
- Project Planning and Proposal: Provide technical expertise and leadership in the project planning and proposal phases.
- Professional Engineering License: Must have a professional engineering license.
- Urban Water Modeling Experience: Must have a minimum of 10 years of urban water modeling experience.
- Software Proficiency: Must be proficient in developing 1D/2D watershed models using HEC-RAS/HEC-HMS and urban/closed system models using XPSWMM, PCSWMM, ICM, and other industry-leading software packages.
- Python and GIS: Must be proficient in using Python and GIS for model development and analysis of model results.
- Leadership and Communication: Must be able to direct and delegate work to junior modelers and provide technical expertise and leadership in the project planning and proposal phases.
