Clinical Liaison Specialist

Overview

Select Specialty Hospital - Tulsa is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Liaison to join our team. As a Clinical Liaison, you will serve as an advocate for patients during the pre-admission process, working closely with clinical teams and healthcare professionals to evaluate patients' medical needs and develop results-producing relationships throughout the medical facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical assessments of referred patients and counsel with patient's families to assist them in making the best care decisions for their loved one.
  • Partner with hospital case managers to create smooth patient transfer processes and help remove payer-related and operational barriers to getting appropriate patients into this highly effective level of care.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, discharge planners, and patient's families to plan the best continuum of care.
  • Utilize strong clinical background, payer knowledge, and problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles that prevent patients from being admitted into the optimal level of care.
Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Respiratory Therapist (RT) License.
  • Prior sales or business development experience is preferred.
  • Additional qualifications include being an investigator and problem solver, flexible, self-driven, accountable for results, autonomous, and supportive of team efforts.
