Overview:
This role is dedicated to delivering comprehensive training on equipment and modules to both employees and clients. The position involves the creation and execution of maintenance training programs, adhering to EVG standards, on customer equipment. Collaboration with the EVG Academy team is essential for the development and documentation of new training topics.

Key Responsibilities:
To excel in this position, the individual must effectively carry out the following primary duties:
  • Provide training to internal and external clients on EVG equipment.
  • Offer technical support for local training equipment.
  • Plan and prepare technical courses for various audiences.
  • Manage course completion tracking and gather customer feedback through our learning management system.
  • Develop training materials based on local challenges and issues.
  • Coordinate modifications of training content with the Documentation team and assist in implementing new procedures.
  • Monitor all Field Service Engineer (FSE) training sessions and establish module training for new FSEs.
  • Assess onsite knowledge of FSEs and devise additional training plans as necessary.

The trainer is expected to work independently, providing mentorship and technical guidance to onsite FSEs.

To stay updated with new equipment and software advancements, the trainer may occasionally assist with service and installations at various customer locations.


Qualifications / Education / Skills and Experience:

This position requires an associate degree or bachelor's degree along with a minimum of three (3) years of experience with EVG equipment, or 6-10 years of experience in the installation and repair of semiconductor or electronic production machinery.

Extensive experience in operating and maintaining semiconductor manufacturing equipment or similar systems is essential.
Strong proficiency in English, excellent organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and high social competence are required.
Experience or education as a trainer in a technical setting is preferred.
Ability to qualify maintenance personnel based on standard procedures and on-site issues is necessary.
A trainer familiar with customer equipment and processes is essential for fostering a unified understanding and operational procedures across EVG HQ, EVG NA, and Intel technicians.

Physical Requirements:


While performing the duties of this position, the individual is frequently required to stand, sit, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift/move items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Visual acuity is necessary.

Individuals must be able to use hands to manipulate objects, tools, or controls regularly and occasionally reach above shoulder level.

Ability to wear appropriate cleanroom attire and work within the fab/cleanroom environment for a significant portion of the time is required.
