Benefits Overview:
- USD 383 covers the complete health insurance premium for employees (Option C) and provides short-term disability insurance, valued at $7,788 annually.

Retirement Plan: Participation in KPERS (Kansas Public Employees Retirement System) with a 6% monthly contribution from staff, becoming vested after five years. The district contributes to a 403B plan for employees annually, with full vesting after 15 years of service.

About Manhattan High School:
Manhattan High School serves grades 9 through 12, with an estimated enrollment of 1,975 students. The school operates on a modified block schedule, with classes held Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, and block scheduling on Wednesday and Thursday. Each teacher is assigned five out of seven class periods, along with an Advisory period once a week, and is provided with a MacBook Air and an iPad. Classrooms are equipped with modern technology, including short throw projectors and Apple TVs, ensuring every student has access to an iPad.
Our educational framework includes a diverse range of electives, Career and Technical Education, concurrent and dual credit courses, as well as Advanced Placement classes. We are committed to fostering high expectations for all students and staff, continually striving to meet student needs and enhance teaching methodologies.
