Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Job Description

This School Psychologist position involves working with teachers, administrators, parents, and other professionals to create a safe, healthy, productive, and supportive learning environment for students in elementary schools. Your duties may include:

  • Evaluating students to determine eligibility for special education services, including administration of universal screening tools and data management.
  • Collaborating with school teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and provide consultation on student behavior and academic performance.
  • Providing psychological evaluations and assessments to identify students at risk of self-harm or harm to others, and developing strategies to support their needs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's or Doctorate degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A valid State-issued license in California as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations, including English Language Learners, and knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
