About the Role

We are seeking a committed and passionate educator to join our team as an Expanded Learning Program Instructor. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students by leading academic, physical, and enrichment activities.

As a Lead Educator, you will be responsible for mentoring and supporting up to 25 youth in an expanded learning setting. You will lead group activities, develop lesson plans, and create a safe and inclusive environment that fosters student growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that support school-day learning
  • Provide individualized support and mentorship to students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver restorative practices-based community circles
  • Support students in developing essential life skills, such as communication, problem-solving, and teamwork
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Child Development, or related field required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with youth in an educational setting
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Commitment to education equity and social justice
