Position Overview

The Guest Services Coordinator is tasked with delivering exceptional service in all interactions with guests. This role is pivotal in ensuring excellence in front office operations, including managing reservations, providing concierge services, and supporting front desk coverage.

We Seek Candidates Who:

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is preferred.
  • Have a minimum of two years of relevant experience in the hospitality or service sector.
  • Can communicate effectively in the primary language(s) of the workplace.
  • Are capable of interpreting safety guidelines, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Can compose routine reports and correspondence.
  • Are comfortable speaking in front of groups of colleagues and staff.
  • Have proficiency in creating documents using Excel and Word.
  • Understand computer systems, particularly Property Management Systems.
  • Can apply basic mathematical concepts, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the accuracy of guest reservations, including rates, dates, room types, and billing instructions.
  • Deliver outstanding service to all guests, facilitating seamless check-in and check-out processes.
  • Adhere to cash handling procedures during financial transactions.
  • Follow standard operating procedures for the Property Management System.
  • Encourage guest recognition by name.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all services and amenities offered.
  • Answer all calls in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Comply with all operational standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure staff adherence to dress code policies during shifts.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints effectively.
  • Assist in training and supervising front desk personnel.
  • Help schedule staff hours and assign duties as necessary.
  • Conduct accurate inventory checks in line with established standards.
  • Support colleagues with travel arrangements and additional accommodations.
