Position Summary
The Food Service Attendant plays a vital role in the retail segment of our hospitality establishment, offering exceptional customer service and support to guests seeking to purchase a variety of items, including snacks, beverages, souvenirs, toiletries, and other goods available in the retail section.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests upon entering the retail area.
- Assist customers in finding desired products.
- Address inquiries related to available merchandise.
- Present products in an organized and visually appealing manner.
- Restock inventory as needed, monitor expiration dates, and remove any expired items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the storeroom.
- Process customer transactions, handle various payment methods, and manage returns, refunds, and exchanges.
- Verify customer identification when necessary.
- Ensure cash drawer is adequately stocked, and all financial transactions are accurately recorded and secured.
- Adhere to opening and closing procedures, ensuring the retail area is secure and monitoring for any potential theft or damage.

Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required.

- Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, using hands for handling objects, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and occasionally lifting or moving up to 80 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
