Commercial Lines Business Development Manager

Sales and Relationship Building:
- Manage a portfolio of high-end Commercial Lines clients, driving revenue growth through exceptional service and strategic partnerships.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers, leveraging industry connections to secure new business opportunities.
Operational Efficiency:
- Analyze departmental workflows and procedures, implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Commercial Lines to oversee day-to-day operations and drive team performance.
Growth and Innovation:
- Identify and pursue growth opportunities for the department, including cross-selling and expanding coverage options.
- Generate and analyze monthly reports to assess progress toward departmental goals, informing strategic decisions and driving results.
Leadership and Development:
- Cultivate a productive and positive work environment within the department, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Provide ongoing training to ensure optimal utilization of our agency management system and carrier websites, empowering team members to excel in their roles.
Experience and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial Lines insurance, with a proven track record of success in sales and leadership roles.
- An active KS P & C License and strong background in Marketing, New Business, and referrals.
- Proficiency with Applied Epic (strongly preferred) and excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Self-motivation, strong leadership and interpersonal abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as business administration or marketing.
- Strong knowledge of the insurance industry, including market trends and regulatory requirements.
