Summary: Ignosh Insurance and Risk Management Inc is seeking a skilled Insurance Account Executive to enhance our service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily management of an assigned portfolio, including billing, premium analysis, policy modifications, policy form reviews, providing coverage comparisons, and addressing policy inquiries.
  • Address client requests for information, documentation, and general insurance queries.
  • Effectively quote and secure a range of insurance products using consultative sales techniques; ensure timely and accurate binding of coverage while collaborating with underwriting for necessary documentation.
  • Maintain comprehensive client records within the agency management system; ensure proper documentation and communication with all relevant parties.
  • Expand the assigned portfolio through cross-selling, up-selling, and referrals.
  • Fulfill licensing and continuing education obligations.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred undergraduate degree; equivalent professional experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Active Property & Casualty License with prior experience in the insurance sector.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively; results-oriented with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to engage with colleagues at all levels, demonstrating tact and diplomacy.
  • Collaborative team player with a commitment to working alongside all office members.
  • Experience with various insurance carriers and direct interaction with their underwriters.
  • Proficient in utilizing online rating software and various insurance carrier systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Bi-lingual capabilities are advantageous.
