Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Summer Flier Experience Associate at Blade. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for our guests from check-in to departure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Experience: Confirm all necessary information, including passenger lists and flight status, to ensure efficient and timely check-in processes.
  • Refreshment and Lounge Management: Offer and serve refreshments to passengers, maintain the cleanliness of the lounge, and manage inventory orders to ensure the lounge is properly stocked.
  • Guest Support: Direct or escort guests to their aircraft or ground transportation, provide assistance with luggage, and respond promptly and tactfully to any guest requests or complaints.
  • Brand Ambassadorship: Act as an ambassador of the Blade brand, providing guests with reservation updates, pertinent information, and recommendations for Blade amenities and ground transportation.
  • Front Desk Operations: Organize and maintain the front desk/counter, ensuring all materials and supplies are readily available and accessible to expedite smooth travel in/out procedures.
  • Team Collaboration: Maintain excellent relationships within the Flier Experience Department and familiarize oneself with the operations and priorities of all other departments.
  • Safety and Security: Prioritize safety in everything you do and report all incidents immediately to senior management.
Requirements
  • Experience: Two years' experience at a front desk at a hotel, restaurant, spa/fitness center preferred.
  • Luxury Environment: Prior experience in a luxury environment is a huge plus.
  • Age and Transportation: Must be over 18 years old, able to commute via mass transit or have your own transportation, and a valid driver's license.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to noise, bright sunlight, and varying weather conditions. The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds individually or with assistance.
