Overview:

The retail environment is dynamic and energetic, providing opportunities for daily interaction with customers, operating the cash register, arranging displays, and stocking merchandise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve personal sales targets while contributing to team objectives.
  • Welcome customers in a prompt, professional, and engaging manner.
  • Offer honest and knowledgeable advice on product styles and sizes.
  • Exhibit professionalism and high-quality service to ensure customers leave with a positive impression of LaCrosse/Danner.
  • Continuously enhance product knowledge to serve as a resource for customers.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional service to every customer.
  • Handle repair, replacement, and exchange requests with professionalism and sound judgment.
  • Promote and embody the LaCrosse/Danner culture in all interactions.
  • Take initiative and serve as a role model for colleagues.
  • Maintain organized stock and ensure displays are appealing and rotated for optimal sales.
  • Assist with backroom tasks and other assignments as needed.
  • Keep counter areas and restrooms clean and orderly.

Additional Duties:

Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Store Manager.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of retail sales experience in a customer-focused environment.
  • Familiarity with LaCrosse and/or Danner products is highly preferred.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and basic skills in Excel and MS Word.

Tools and Equipment:

POS system and computer terminal, barcode scanner.

Work Environment:

The physical demands of this role are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions successfully. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate.

Reporting Structure:

This position reports directly to the Danner Store Manager.
